Well, I am at home with my husband and daughter. Ah! I am so glad the pregnancy is over. And in the end, it was worth it. The pay off is great. She is great. She gets cuter everyday. Is that possible? She came into the world at just 5lbs. and 6oz. Her lungs work great. The only issue is she has hyper-extended knees and her hips are misaligned. But that is all correctable. All in all, everything is better than the alternative. I am so glad it worked out this way.
We have our first appointment with the orthopedic specialist tomorrow. I am a little anxioius. But I know everything will work out. I can just feel it. Her knees and getting straighter each day. She is getting stronger.
Now, I have a hurricane (my son) and a sloth (my daughter). Whenever Lyla cries, Brandon says `Yaya!` and comes over to check on her. He uses gentle hands to stroke her and smothers her with kisses. Or he would if he could. We are doing our best to spend equal time with each child. Now, I am able to spend more time with Brandon and I want to take advantage of that time as much as possible. And enjoy the sleeping sloth too. Cause God knows, that will not last forever.
I will be 29 on Friday. I can`t believe it. I can`t believe I will be 29. Dear God! I am...aging. I feel weird about this now. Hmmm... I am 29 and I not sure about my life. Great. That`s fucking fantastic!
Right now, Lee is getting lunch and I will finish putting laundry away.

I am so happy for the both of you. I can't imagine a better gift. She's a little tough one, just like her momma and dadda.
Best wishes.
Congratulations, and happy birthday!
