The Beginning of a new thing...

Well, this is the beginning of a Blog. My Blog. I guess I just wanted to start writing again. I haven't written anything of note in years. But here and now I resume that task. Afterall, now I have a "little one" a "chosen one" on the way. No he won't be a slayer. Just a special kid with a good heart. Afterall, he will have part of mine. Aww...sigh.

Anyways, I just came home from the mall. I wandered around and didn't find anything of note, so I made myself dehydrated and came home. Now I am sipping some cool water, listening to some Esthero. She's good stuff.

Tomorrow, is New Year's Eve and Lee and I will be going to a small quiet intimate gathering with our friends R & C. I'm looking forward to it. Something relaxing with some good people. And casual. Thank God, I don't have to dress up. It's like covering two asses! Except, the temporary one is now more heavy. I'm being dragged to the ground, front forward by my "ASS"! Go figure! It's a very odd feeling. Anyways, good times ahead.
Yeah, I am only gonna get bigger! Yeah, good times!

Of times ahead, Lee and I will have to get our asses in gear and decorate that baby room. So, we want a Franklin theme in the baby's room. But they don't make baby merchandise in Franklin. So, Lee has decided to take it upon himself to paint a Frankin mural. If, it were anyone else, I would shake my head no. But, I know he will do it justice and he'll do a damn good job.

Another thing of note, there are these cute baby books, by Carl Norac, that I love. "I Love to Cuddle" and "I Love You, So Much" They are about Lola the Hamster and her family and friends. They are cute stories about Lola's self-discovery of her feelings and what matters to her. I bought them 7 years ago for no reason. I was just drawn to them. About a month ago, I thought about them again and wanted to pull them out to read to my unborn child . Yeah, I know, I'm a sap. I could not find them anywhere. They are gone or still in a box. More likely gone. So, I called Lee at work and told him I looked everywhere, and that I was very upset. I was close to tears. Well, metaphoric tears. So, he was sappy too and gave me permission to buy the books again on Amazon. And yesterday they arrived. Ah....I am happy again. And I know, baby boys love to cuddle too!

Welcome to the ego-inflated world of blogging, my dear sister. You know, with my own overinflated sence of self, its a wonder I don't have a blog yet. I guess I'll just feed my ego by comenting on yours. :)

On a serious note - its good to see you writing again, as I remember you being quite good at it, and that even your "for fun" stories were quite acomplished. Glad to see you taking "keyboard to sceen" and getting your creativity going agian.

Happy blogging - Patrick

I have no idea what blogging is, but if it means expressing yourself in whatever way makes you feel good, then go for it!

I feel for you Mary with the two "asses" comment...been there!

Yes, you are extremely lucky to be having been blessed with a miracle of your own. It really changes your life, and it will change mine too... I will officially be an Aunt!

Express yourself some more, I am always up for a read!

Glad to see you blogging! I think this is a wonderful first entry.

When are you due again? Are the maternity clothes still fitting? And I never did hear - is it a boy, then?

Reply to Trish:
I am due to pop junior out around April 15th. Yes, he is a boy. We saw the penis on the ultrasound. There was no hiding it. Our son flashed us! Let's hope he doesn't turn out to be an exhibitionist. Oh I commented on some of your blogs. And the maternity clothes are still fitting. You can re-assure your mom, they just have a little wear-n-tare. Also, since I have got some of my own clothes as well, if you are intereste. Hey, more variety is always a good thing.
