Brandon is cranky. Does he even know what he wants? It is tough playing guessing games with his emotions. Last night, he just would not go down for sleep. Once I put him down in his bassinet, I would get into bed and right on cue, about 5min later, he would start to cry out. Finally, I had to hold him while he slept in my arms. He got fussy a bit, but once I cuddled him, he would ease right back into sleep. I got a few winks too, but it was tough.
Oh great, I hear him stirring now. Good God! Will this child ever get some rest?

Been there, done that. Izzy still does not sleep well. With Gemma we just side-car-ed the crib to the bed and she slept really well. Even now that we have moved Gemma into Izzy's room she still sleeps way better than Izzy.
Do you have the bassinet close enough to the bed that if he cries you can just reach over and rub his tummy? That calms them down sometimes.
