New Blog...finally

Finally, I am motivated to write again. Nothing much to update though.

Saw the Doc a couple of days ago. The pregnancy is still going great. So that is one worry I do not have. Most of my stress is getting ready for my Mat Leave. But that is a whole other story. Which I won't go into here.

I finished season 1 of Battlestar Gallactica. Wow! What a freakin' awesome show. I love Edward James Olmos. He's great! And Starbuck as a woman, I like her. She is like, "The New Buffy". Meaning she is my new feminine hero. She is so awesome and arrogant and tenacious and deep down has a good heart. I guess she is a lot like me then. Boy, that is thinking highly of myself, isn't it? But it is not just a good action show, but a good drama.

So last night, Lee thought I should see the origional Battlestar Galactica. To make a comparision, I guess. And boy, did that suck. It had vague potential, but it was tough to get through. The dialogue was just so cornball and crappy. The effects were crap too, but that is a sign of the times. Kind of like the origional Star Trek. That is forgivable. And the origional cast of the pilots and Odama was okay. But, man did it blow. I can't believe it launched a series. Let's just say, I will not be watching anymore of the old stuff.

Tonight is the beginning of game, Serenity 2.0. I am really looking forward to how 2 new players are going to change the dynamic of the story. I'll be interested to see where it goes.

Oh, I also haven't slept since about 2am. So, I am a little cranky. I just fed myself some sugar for breakfast to keep myself awake. I hope the kid doesn't mind. Seriously, what kid would?
